Little Sossus Camping Facilities

The facilities at the Little Sossus Lodge, just less than 2km away from the campsite, are available to guests staying at the campsite. The lovely African cuisine on offer at the farmhouse styled restaurant will add to the spoils of this inviting place, which has been converted into a homely meeting place.



Restaurant, Bar & Lounge

Following the philosophy that good food brings people together, the hosts at Little Sossus Lodge create meals with a typically Namibian flavour for their guests to enjoy.

A good and hearty breakfast is served to provide the energy needed for dune climbing and other activities to be enjoyed. A set menu is available for dinner, with a variety of options to suit all tastes.

Special diets like vegan or vegetarian can also be accommodated. Light meals and snacks can be ordered for lunchtime.


Waterhole

A waterhole right at the campsite provide opportunities for game viewing from your own campsite. The spectacular scenery of the NamibRand area, creates endless photographic moments, while the sunset supplies the ambience for an exceptional night in the desert.


Outdoor Pool, Barbeque & Picnic Area

While the desert is known for its scorching high temperatures, the cold-water swimming pool at Little Sossus Campsite will offer some much-needed relief. Barbeque facilities and picnic spots are available to day-visitors at the Lodge.


Farmstall

A range of delicious homemade delicacies is available in the farmstall at Little Sossus Camp A variety of meats can be purchased and freshly baked bread can be ordered. Basic supplies can be purchased at the farmstall at the campsite at Little Sossus Campsite or at the Little Sossus Lodge.
